SAT 9:00 AM
Chip Burnette
Wire-Wrapped Cabochon Pendant

Class is suitable for beginners, but interesting and challenging enough for all levels. Students will complete two pendants in class. This class is designed to teach the basics, and will allow you to progress rapidly to more complex projects.

Students may bring tools if they already have them, but do not go buy tools before class. I encourage students to try out several brands of tools to discover what type works best for them, as many types are available and it does nat make sense to spend money on something you are unhappy with - try before you buy! I will have sufficient tools available for use in class.

Supplies:
21 Ga Square Wire, Dead Soft - About 6 feet, depending on size of cabochons and amount of decoration (your choice of metal)
21 Ga Half Round Wire, Half hard - About 3 feet, depending on size of cabochons (your choice of metal)
2 Cabochons - try to avoid sharp corners or concave edges, those are harder. (But we will discuss how to wrap them in class)

Tools:
Round Nose Pliers
Flat Nose Pliers
Chain Nose Pliers
Wire Cutter or Flush Cutter
Jewelers Cloth
Pin Vice (Optional)
Nylon Jaw Pliers (Optional)
Emory Board (Optional)

SAT 9:00 AM
Royelle Giddings
Lacy Necklace

a delica, a seed bead and 4mm crystals and
a clasp, or button.

It takes 8 crystals for each sections, so if you want a 5 section necklace, it will take 40 crystals, if you want the sections all the way around your neck --- it takes about 9 sections or 72 crystals. I will sometimes dangle a 6 mm crystal in between each section, so if you have 5 sections, you will need 6 -- 6mm crystals, or for 9 sections, you will need 10 -- 6mm crystals.

A tube of delicas and a tube of 11 seed beads will do it. I will also show them how to make a bracelet from this same pattern. It is all 'netting' which is so much fun. You can even make Christmas tree ornaments using this same pattern.
